Picture your senior year…

Picture it being your last and final year of high school. You’ve worked hard and put in your time. The future is looking bright and you’ve got plans! Then, all of a sudden, BAM! A novel virus hits the world. Your plans are turned inside out. Just about everything is shut down and prom, just like graduation, are completely cancelled.

What’s a senior to do? Well, you do your best and take it all day by day, just like everyone else. Hannah is just such a senior. This beautiful young lady has plans to attend Weber State University after graduation. She was enrolled in the cosmetology program at Davis Tech College when the schools were closed due to the corona virus.

I was excited to meet Hannah so I could get to know her while we walked around Weber State campus. Campus has been deserted, and created a great spot for photos.

I learned something surprising about this amazing senior. Photo sessions are not Hannah’s favorite thing. What?!? Hannah was killing it! She has the most beautiful smile and sweet personality. Smiling is definitely a talent of hers. I am grateful for the chance to work with Hannah and to meet one of the friendliest young ladies ever!

No seniors in my family, therefore I’m not in the thick of graduation planning. I have told a number of my senior friends that they have quite the story to tell. Whenever their kids complain about anything, they will always be able to one up them in an argument. “When I was a senior in high school” will have some real weight. Congratulations Hannah and to all the 2020 seniors!
